Cooking with grass-fed, grass-finished:

With any grass fed meat it is important to remember to cook low and slow, meaning cook at a lower temp for a little longer that how you'd prepare grain fed or grain finished meat due to the lower fat content.

 

How we like it:

We've been making lasagna, lasagna rolls, tacos, burritos and burgers so far and this meat has been terrific! Our new favorite way to cook any ground beef is to first prepare ahead a large batch of beef bone broth, portion and freeze, adding in some any time we cook for tender, flavorful and moist dishes.

This is for onsite pick-up by appointment at our farm gate in Tehachapi, California. Add delivery to Tehachapi, Bakersfield, Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita or Pasadena for an additional charge.
